steam-hacked

i got hacked so badly here is what happend:

just minding my own buisness you know makin mods for halo trial and trying to get adobie flash working when my steam pops up.
it says you have 1 friend invite
im like "ok" so i click on it and it says "automated account" so the it says in a private mssg "please state your emale address steam account password....." and so on
so im like''r u real?"
and he says "r u real does not procces if you do not sate thin information your account will be terminated you have two chances left.
so them im like ok okok and i give him my stuff
but then i was like "wait a minute this is aboute my hacking counter strike isnt it?"
and then the guy is like "ya whatever" and then he logs off and and then i log off shortly afterwrad and cant log back in.


ima go do teh same thing right not so i can hack some ones account

rule of thumb > NEVER GIVE YOUR EMAIL / PASSWORD TO ANYONE OR ANYTHING NO MATTER WHAT..

always check the address you're logging into, and make sure its 100% legit..

and champs right.. dont hack someone just cuz you got hacked, you'll make them feel like you felt when you were hacked, which im sure wasnt that great =/

i had that happen to me but then the guy was like "gotcha!" and i chewed him out BIGTIME.

I made him feel so bad he never did it again.

well, first.. i wouldnt have given shit out, BUT if someone managed to get my pass & knew about it i would be calling steam with his account name, email, IP address and any other info i could figure out

make sure hes banned for life lmfao

your right i should not hack some ones account but....
with the new engine mod for gmod! how could i resisit?!?

well ive decided to go with jbburkes and Viva La Champs (iam have to get used to spelling that lol) advice and not hack some ones account. instead i made one called bluerage12 wich i was meaning to do. actually the guy that hacked my account endedn up hacking a banned account lol so he cant even play any of my games. if you can hear me know that im laghing at you right now. now my account si no longer promaster12 it is now bluerage12 so send me an invite. i will be rebuying my games tonight.

btw dont you guys think that pmg should do more computer games like halo trial modding,gmod map making /lua scripting and maybe counter strike source map making/lua scripting.

Tha tsucks. One of my friends did that to me once on AIM and he got my info and liked went on my account and changed a bunch of crap on it. I was like "wow this kids ghey" but then he told me it was him after.

ya as it turns out he was posing as me and told one of my friends this:
hey me and my friend is playing gmod at his house can i borrow your account for liek a day?"
and he almost fell for but then he asked for my name and the guy guessed wrong.

What an idiot

well i rebaought my games and finally made a bluerage12 account and im not banned any more (for now ) so every thing has worked out.
