Office Depot sells a capture card for 49.99 that is the same thing as an 89.99 , it just doesnt come with an editing software which is worthless anyway. It wont be hi-def but it gets the job done.
I would just use Windows Movie Maker to capture the video, or if your looking for higher quility maybe try Camtasia (Check Download.com) And then just edit it on Windows Movie Maker for any slight adjustments like cropping, adding music (try limewire for free downloads without copyright restriction) or adding text and you should be good.
