CAPTURE CARD~!

i finally got my capture card.
and to speed things up a little i grabbed a new computer too.
What type of capture card does everyone use?

I use a dazzle platinum dvc 170

I use reg dazzle.
Took me a while to get the updates going for vista tho.
Is platinum really better? If it is ill take this back and upgrade for like 10 bucks.
I was under the influence that platinum just included a different editing software, and i was planning on mastering vegas.

lol my capture card sucks ass imo. You can only record in sudio 10, 11. It has a hell of a hard time recording on vista unless you have studio 11, and this is how my setup goes. I have hd cords plugged in my tv, and the standard in the capture card. I turn my tv on to standard, and It goes threw my capture card. I then record it on my laptop. Get a flash drive, plug it in my pc, and edit with sony vegas...

ya, and on my videos I use a secret little vegas effect to give the vids better quality, and I render with a good setting also

i need to get a capture card... but my parents took my computer and are now ysing it as there 3rd t.v at the surf shop so im looking for a cheap old 250$ doller laptop then ima get a 150$ graffix card and a capture card.
i would sell some of my paintball guns but..... me and my friends decided to go on a trip to geroiga and play a few games we found a half built house and said what the hell lets play the place was already wrecked so we grabed some p[ly wood made some bunkers out side and played acpture da house (also knows as cs/crackhouse if u play ccs)
we didnt know some one owend it so the next thing we knew we were in jail.....lol i might be offline for a while.

never heard of a capture card before, what is it??

I don't have one, but just from what I've been reading I think it's a card to record games on your TV/Computer

Huh sounds pretty awesome. Anyone know of a good place to get one??

yeh caws got it, its just a device that changes the regular red/white/yellow cables into a usb so your computer can capture the video..

i got mine at best buy, but i've seen em at pretty much any computer/techish store.. also amazon sells em pretty cheap

well..... i was hunting at the time the cops came so i was holding a shot gun and a 45 sooo the kinda had pistols pulled.
